General Library Policies

Accountability: If a key to any of the individual or group study rooms is lost, the patron will be responsible for a $125.00 key replacement fee.

Food and drink policy: Beverages and snacks are permitted in the Library and the computer labs. Clean up after yourself! Recycle and dispose of all waste properly. Report any spills as soon as possible to the Circulation Desk.

Quiet study area: The 2nd floor of the Library is a designated quiet study area. There are individual study carrels and individual study rooms that allow for serious concentration and quiet daydreaming. No group work should be done on this floor, unless it is in one of the 3 group study rooms with the door closed.

Group study areas: All areas of the Library, except for the 2nd floor, are appropriate for group work. Please be aware of your surroundings and the fact that other people may be trying to get their work done. Keep conversation noise levels so that those at your table can hear you, but those near you don't have to (you know, use your inside voice).
