Placing Holds on JKM Library Items

Chatham students, faculty, and staff can place holds on items available for checkout in the JKM Library. To do so, simply click on the "Place hold" link for the item you want. When prompted to login, sign in with your regular Chatham username and login.

Once you submit a hold, if the item is available, we will pull it within 2 business days. You will then receive an email that the item is ready for you to pick up at the JKM Library Circulation Desk. Once you have received that email, you will have 14 days to pick up the item.

Item not available for hold?

  1. For books, place a request in E-ZBorrow.
  2. For books not available through E-ZBorrow, DVDs, CDs, and other items, place a request in ILLiad.

Please Note: Placing a hold does not guarantee you the item. If another patron comes in and finds the item on the shelf before we have pulled the item to put it on hold for you, that patron will be given the item.
