Reserving the McGuire Room (310)

The McGuire Room may be reserved by members of the Chatham community for study, classes, and meetings. Priority will be given to the Registrar, groups of 13-16 people, and/or those who need to use a projector.

How to make a reservation:

  • ONLINE! Use the booking widget above or visit the McGuire Room booking page.
  • Reservations can be made for up to 4 consecutive hours at a time.
  • Submit a reservation request for approval. We will try to respond within 2 business days.
  • For day-of reservations, Stop by the Circulation Desk.
  • Plan ahead! Make reservations up to 6 months in advance!

On the day of your reservation:

  • Check ONLINE to confirm your reservation! See the McGuire Room booking page.
  • The person who was approved for the reservation must be the one to pick up the key at the Circulation Desk. Bring your valid Chatham ID.
    • You MUST check out the key for your room within the first hour of your reservation. If you do not pick up the key (or notify us of your late arrival) within the first hour, you will lose your reservation – no exceptions!

Food and drink are allowed in the study rooms, but please clean up after yourself before you leave! Recycle and dispose of all waste properly. Report all spills immediately to the Circulation Desk.

Accountability: If a key is not returned or lost, the person to which the key is checked out is responsible for a $125.00 key replacement fee.
